NO! Pepto has salicilates in it,which are similar to aspirin, which does not mix with Rimadyl. The person who mentioned Pepcid is correct, but ask your vet for the correct dosage. Also,Rimadyl is very bad for the liver,so if I were you,I would try Cosequin ( which you can get from your vet) and Salmon oil,in combination with diet, exercise and enteric coated aspirin.many, many dogs have died from liver damage caused by Rimadyl, but the vets won't tell you that because they make money from it.Don't use Deramaxx, either.

Pepcid is better, but you should start by trying some boiled chicken and white rice to see if that will settle her stomach. Give it to her 30 minutes before each dose of Rimadyl.

Pepto bismol has an ingredient in it that is related to aspirin. It is likely to cause your dog more gastric upset. Call your vet.

Call your vet, it is not the Rymadryl, once on this med do not mix meds or take off without vets permission....this med is for arthritis and bone and joint pain...we have one of my male schnauzers on it, and vet said don't stop it or mix med without asking me first........Pepcid may work okay, I never trusted it for dogs, call your vet please........she is gassy, or having diarrhea??? if so, its not the med.......he will be able to help,,no cost to call and ask, better to be safe than sorry for mixing meds......Merry Christmas
