He shakes his ears but not just only his ears, his whole body, kinda how they do after they have a bath, and he does it alot, i thought maybe he had ear mites because for a few days there he was shaking only his ears, but i've been giving him ear mite drops and he still shakes his entire body...does anyone know why that may be?

I think he's amazing, period. I know he has a lawsuit pending against him, but I think this nation is too litigious anyway. Everybody thinks somebody else is to blame when something goes wrong. What the naysayers don't understand is that Cesar Millan is NOT a dog trainer. He's a dog REHABILITATOR, and there's a huge difference. He doesn't teach methods of obedience training for normal, well-adjusted dogs. He trains owners on how to be a pack leader and he rehabilitates dogs with all kinds of problems ranging from minor anxiety to severe aggression. I can only guestimate the number of dogs' lives he saves every year because their owners would have otherwise given up on them and surrendered them to shelters where they would have either been killed or gone from home-to-home-to-home, never having their issues addressed. What do you think?

My partner and I are going to be getting a puppy that will be 8 weeks old when we get it and will have already had its first vaccination. We plan on getting a crate but leaving the door open, so it has somewhere to eat and go to the toilet but we were wondering is the puppy too young to be taken outside to try and begin toilet training. We do not have a garden but live right next to the beach, and for the first week or so were planning on taking it just outside of our house to encourage it to go to the toilet. Is this possible or should it be kept inside until it has its second vaccination, and if so when should we get this done?

Hi..just picked up my dalmatian puppy this morning. He is about 45 days old. Last in the litter to go. He was not very happy for the first few hours..crying and yelping. I though I was gonna have to take him back. He has since become very happy and chirpy. Thing is though, that changes if I am literally out of his sight. He start crying and yelping. I mean literally out of his line of sight. I read all the book and was told crate trainign was a good idea in the first few days. There is no way this boy is going in a crate tonight or being on his ownwithout raising hell. Will he go off to sleep so I can put him in his own space. At the moment I cannot see him sleeping except at my feet. Do I let him sleep with me or what else should I do. i do not mind short term but I really do not want a grown dog in my bed every night.

My husband and I have moved to a new city and have made friends with a couple our age who have two young boys. Our Boxers had puppies and they decided they wanted one. They've talked about the puppy for weeks and when they came to pick the puppy up, they didn't want to pay for it. I gave them a discount on the dog at $150 (I have a lot of money in my puppies with shots and health care, etc. and I believe I was right to ask for something from them if they wanted one of my dogs.) Anyway, they've had the dog for two weeks and have driven it all over the place. She left the dog in her car while she went into a store and the dog pooped and ruined her seats. Now she wants me to take the dog back and give her money back to her. I don't know what that dog has come into contact with and I don't want it around my healthy puppies. I told her I'd try to sell the dog for her but that I couldn't take it back. Now they're angry with us. Who was in the right?

isn't it time we got together and made our own network?
Our website now appears on yahoo's directory.
Why pay $200 a year more or less when people looking, can find what they want directly from us?
If you want to participate, provide a means of reaching you.
I can't do too many and prefer tto limit our usage to the US. Agreed?

We just got this Miniature Schnauzer and I made the mistake of putting him in bed with us 1 time and now he cries until I put him in the bed with us. I can sleep while he is in the bed because I’m afraid that I will roll on him. How do I get him to sleep in his bed that we got him and not want to be in bed with us?

Id give him away but then my husband would get rid of my cat. My dog is sooo insecure, its ridiculous. Is he a dog or a mouse, for cryin' out loud!? When I go to pet him,put his leash on him, anything,he pees everywhere! I cant even pet the dumb dog! If I say cheerfully,
"Come here" he gets nervouse, gets close to the ground and curls up like a weasle. Follows me everywhere and I trip over him cuz he stops right in the way. Its so aggravating that even normal dog things annoy the heck outta me,like licking his balls real loudly, sniffing other dogs urine in the ground, how he will eat ANYTHING,feces, even rocks, instead of his dog food. What do I do about this? I dont want to even recognize his existance but I want him to be more of a dog.

I have a chihuhua mix that just had her first litter of 3 puppies. She was taking care of them just fine for the first 2 or 3 days, but now she doesn't want to feed them or even be around them. She is constantly barking to be let out of the kennel, and when I let her out and she comes back in she hides and I have to force her to go back in with the puppies. I know first litters can be a problem for the mother to adjust to, but is there anything I can do to help the situation? Will it clear up on it's own? What signs should I watch for to know when/if I need to bottle feed them, and what should I give them if that is necessary?
