I have a maltese and her back legs sometimes twitch or walks on 3 legs. Sometimes she just goes and lays on her back so she doesnt need to stand on on her leg. What can be wrong with her? Could it be she is sick or has arthrites?

My dog went into heat a few days ago. I was wondering how long this last and if there are any tips for controling the 'mess'. Also I called the vet to set up an appt to have her fixed. (She is 8months old) I figured that I would have to wait until she wasn't in heat anymore but the vet said they could do it while she was in heat. Is this ok and will she still bleed after the surgery?

My husband who now is really ill always is reminising about our Dog who was uthanised due to a fatal illnes,this dog was really,loved and I would sure like to own another Retriever as they are trustworthy around kids ,people in general My ' Problem'
Vetranarian telling me the Humanre.Society isn't a reliable source to buy a dog,
the adds in the newspapers have dogs in the $100.00--500.00&up to at thousand dollars for sale.
I don't like purebreeds with their many genetic problems.tOO
Too rich for my pockets! Does any one have thoughts they can share?

3 nights ago my 8 month old golden retriever threw up in the bedroom twice, then another time in the hallway. I cleaned those up and went to sleep. She threw up another 4 times that night though. She's been fine ever since though so I didn't take her to the vet. Seems like I'm always taking her to the vet, unlike any mutt I've ever had.

i have been looking for a puppy and searched shelters and online and have my heart set on a yorkie.. if anyone knows of anyone willing to part with a female puppy let me know... MUST BE IN NORTH CAROLINA can't imagine shipping a puppy... it's aweful to think about...

i have a german shepard puppy that is almost one but she chews EVERYTHING! i leave her outside, she chews the garage. i leave her inside, she chews the blinds and even the walls. she chews every toy to pieces in a matter of days. please tell me how to make her stop. i know she's still a puppy and probably teething but this is a little extreme i think.

Ok well shes small shes a Rot, German Shepard, and pitbull mix... My other dog is Sadie shes a Pit/Lab....and when she was her age she was like the same size she is now.So is my dog Sox gonna be the same size too. And if so is this like bad?

okay, so my puppy, polmeranian mix cocker, is a girl, she's 3 month old, and black, and she eats natural balence food, but every time i give her her food, she does not even touch it!!!!! please help me, i would like her to get used to eat in the morning at 10 and at night at 7:30 please give me some tips! ^_^ thanks! ^_^

and i was also wondering, can she mate at this age? (3 month.)
