She is at the age when she wakes up from a nap she sometimes can not make it as far as the doggy door. She is paper trained
so we are back to that next to her bed. but she digs up the paper while she does her thing which moves the paper out from under. any ideas of things that might work. ( i do take her out fequently during the day but this never happens when im around)

I just let her outside to go potty and she keeps finding poo and rolling in it.It's getting really annoying. I've tried banishing her to her crate-leaving her tied out-bathing her with the hose right away(which is cold water only)-pretty much everything short of beating her(which I'd never do). Any other suggestions??

I know it sounds stupid, but I have a 12 mo old Basset Hound and he has lifted his leg once, on a blade of grass when he was six weeks old. He has two sisters and I wonder if this has anything to do with it. He squats like the girls.

I have a male and a female pure breed registered Siberian Husky. I bred them and I planned to keep a female from the litter. I ended up getting stuck with a male as well, because I couldn't sell him. My cousin and her husband told me that they bred their purebreed hound dog to his daughter and had a beautiful litter of pups with no health problems that they know of. They said that this is how you get the purest puppies!?!?????? I heard that the closest relation that you can breed in a dog is grandparent to grandchild. What is true? Reason I ask is I want to know if I should try to sell or trade the little male so that I can breed the female in a couple of years or so, or could we breed the siblings to each other?

He is about 3-4 months old, plump belly but scrawny legs and neck. The chow mix bag doesnt tell me how much to feed him so i give him 2-3 cups a day. He could definitely eat more, it seems he is always hungry. I can't tell if he is getting too fat because of his belly or not being fed enough because his other feature dont show any fat.

I have two puppies and one of them is really fat and one of them is really skinny ( like about to die skinny) they are 3 weeks old and the skinny one does not look that old. Everytime they eat the fat one punks the skinny one and takes all the food. We gave some puppy food to the skinny and he seemed to like it but I am not sure if he is to younge to be eating puppy food from the can.

I have a shepherd who was diagnosed with pancreatic enzyme deficancy about 8 months ago, I have her diarreah under control, but I cant get the weight back on her, she cannot lose anymore weight because she has no more to lose, if anyone has any experience with this disorder please tell me what else to do aside from the enzyme replacement, I have had to put her on canned food because of the inability to digest dry, I was giving her 6-8 cans a day in 2 cans per feeding but she is not gaining an ounce, the can recommends 4 cans a day for a dog her size, thanks a million

My sister left her dog with me --- she said he be fine --I took him for a walk -- brought him in put him in his kennel --- he started to whine -- then bark and then howl -- he only stops howling when I walk him and I can't walk him for the next 4 four straight and then walk him 2 miles home --if I let him out he'll claw up my front door --- no leash to chain him outside -- besides he'd howl out there and bother the neighbors -- How do you stop a dog from whining, barking and howling? Thanks for any advice.
