You can actually reduce, if not eliminate, tape worms by grinding un-salted pumpkin seeds (the human snack kind) very fine in a blender, and mixing it with canned dog food..for a toy poodle, about 1 teaspoon in his meal, 3 days,,skipping a day between.

You can get a suppliment from Enrich International called Paraway Plus. You would break open 1/2 capsule per 5 lbs and mix in their food. This is all natural and safe for humans and pets.

WHy is it that people ALWAYS want to take a cheaper, but more DANGEROUS way to get rid of tapeworms in their pet ????????

You need to take this poor dog to the vet; so she can be weighed and the proper dose of the RIGHT medicine can be administered to her ! That CRAP that feed stores, and sotres like Walmart carries CAN and HAS KILLED pets !!

Do it right, if you want to keep this dog. The fact that she's elderly also means she may not be able to tolerate a full dose.

Various pet supply stores carry tapeworm meds. The ones that you see in the poo are just the babies. There is a place in So. Cal called A.B.C. Animal birth control. They can give your dog a shot. Prices vary with different weights. My sisters cat weighed about 15 lbs and it cost her $20.
