There isn't one. You need to go to your veterinarian and buy some PROPER flea treatments (Advantage, Revolution, etc) and stop being cheap. Many "home remedies" can actually be toxic to your pets, do NOT trust what you read on the internet.

First, it is important to control cat fleas. Feline fleas are often the root of dog fleas. The fleas need cat blood to reproduce. Second, purchase "Advantage" or "Frontline" to treat the dog. Read and follow the directions carefully. Give the dog a good bath, then apply the "Advantage". Wear rubber gloves to avoid skin absorbtion. We apply it to the back of our dogs neck so that she can't lick it. Treat the home and yard with "Defend" or another approved insecticide. Repeat home and yard treatment in 2 weeks. Make sure to wear protective clothing and a mask. Your flea problem will end. You have the "Firedogs" word on it!

They say Vaseline does the trick... but below also will do...

Kitchen Insect Repellents
Strings of garlic bulbs and bundles of chili peppers hung from the ceiling of a kitchen have more than just cosmetic appeal. Flies and other pests do not care for them. Aromatic herbs will also keep away kitchen pests. Try growing sage, thyme, oregano, rosemary, basil, or one of the mints in your kitchen windows. Rue, a fast-growing bushy plant with blue-tinged leaves, will work against both flies and fleas. If you have a problem with ants in your kitchen, find their point of entry and sprinkle cayenne pepper around it. Finally, a couple of bay leaves in your jars of flour, cereals, beans, or rice will deter weevils.

you can go to a pet store a buy a shampoo that is made for killing flees. Once you are done washing your dog then vaccume your whole house. This should help.
