We get them to stop, but once one moves, the other is on him like white on rice. I can't keep yelling at them anymore, it's driving me crazy and it isn't getting me anywhere!! And yes, they are both males and are both fixed.

For those of you who walk your dog, how does your dog react when it smells a skunk? Does it walks away from the smell, approaches to investigate, or keeps walking as if it's not there? I'm asking because I'm wondering if dogs find the smell offensive as we humans do.

I have metal edging in my yard around what used to be a lawn. The lawn died and we had the old soil removed. The metal edging is now exposed and we don't plan to replace the lawn until next year. In the meantime, I have two dogs who run around the yard, and I don't want them to land hard on the edging and cut themselves. Is there some sort of flexible plastic or something else that I can put on top of the edging to soften the edges so that my dogs don't hurt themselves? I'm looking for something plastic (and not foam) that will stay during the rain.

i love all animals and would help take care of any that needed me, but i've noticed some people only seem to care about their own animals.

What can I do? I made a "Red Pepper Paste" on the area he was chewing on. He sneezed once, started licking his lips, then went for water. I got back into bed and watched this crazy dog, and he finished licking the Red Hot Paste off the door moulding. He loved it.. What can I get? The crap that you spray furniture is worthless, so don't waste your money. Maybe I need to make a paste of "Red Devil Lie".. But of coarse that would kill him. I know there is an answer out there. And one more thing! How can I stop him from biting, when he is playing with me. Water pistol, will that work. I doubt it as he wants in the shower with me each day. He loves it. Rody_o

I like to keep the dogs active and think kongs are a great way of making food fun for them - can anyone suggest good snacks to put in them - The best so far is doggy biscuits and freezing them in gravy - or iced water - great in this hot weather... more ideas please?

We didn't want to get him neutered at first because we have heard sometimes they "change" afterwards, but now we are thinking we want to. We can't take him to the dog park because he is so pre-occupied with trying to sniff eveyones butt and sometimes try to hump them. He was born March 30, 2005, so he's a year and for months. Does it hurt more when they are older or is it still okay?

Our Pomeranian is usally very quiet. The kennel we leave her at said she is the quietest Pom they have had.

So when someone besides my wife or I comes to the house, why does she bark aggressively? She barks and acts like she is ready to fight the person. I realize it may be a territorial thing, but it doesn't stop, and it becomes embarassing. She just stands near the person and barks constantly. It's like she can't adjust to new people. Any ideas or solutions?
