go with what your vet recommends. i'm happy for you that you know his liver is failing because maybe you have time to save it--my puppy died a couple years ago when his liver failed, and we only caught it when it was too late.

Go to your vet and take any advice he gives. I'm guessing he would say stuff with lots of iron, but that's just a guess

you should seek a homeopath and get him on some liver drainers. this could prolong him health, wellness and life! . or go to a health food store and look for a liver drainer you're self.its just drops you put in non chlorinated water can be taken with any and all meds he may be on.

Keep this particular meal between 400 and 1000 calories. Serve yourself a small portion, so if you like coming back again for seconds, you'll just turn out eating a normal-size portion.

Add veggies to baked items. You'll never even taste your zucchini in these brownies or even the sweet potato in these kind of cookies.

Instead of cream cheese or butter about bread or bagels, spread almond or even peanut butter. The healthy fats satiate hunger and can decrease belly fat.
