my puppy is straining to go to the bathroom. what should I do?

Make sure he's getting good quality dog food, not the crud they sell at the supermarket. Make sure he has enough fresh water....if that doesn't solve the problem, take him to the vet. He could be sick.

Give him lots of water and try a few pieces of fresh veggies. That should work.
