Well it depends on the dog! In general they like to eat meat. But there are some dogs who are vegetarians! My pom eats chicken and rice most of the time. His favorite food is fish, pumpkin and rice. But my other big dogs like meat, a little veggies in their rice. See my dogs don't eat dog food. They are used to eat what humans eat, and I eat a lot of rice. They also like to eat fruit_ like banana and avocado. My dogs also eat yogurt, they like to eat ice cream, and sweets, but I never give them any, because it is not good for them.

Dogs will eat most anything but you don't need to feed them some things. Most food for human consumption isn't too good for them. It is best to feed them dog food. The age and the size of the dog will make a lot of difference in what brand and what amount you feed it. If it is an old dog you may want to give it soft food so that it is easier digested and easier to chew. Also, some dog foods stink worse than others after they are digested. Find one that the dog likes and stick with it because changing the food will cause problems (in some dogs).

My dogs like Iams but I also give them ground meat mixed with rice sometimes as a nice treat. Plus this mixture helps when they have a tummy ache. I also occasionally give them peanut butter
as a treat they love it and its keeps them quiet and occupied for a bit.
I wouldnt reccomend the treats for an overweight dog though. Just lots of exercise and a good premium dog food for weight control.

Reall dog food wise we get IAMS it is very good for the dog human food isnt very good but if you realy want to dont give her/him chocolate onions spicy food beans will make it fart but my dog loves carrots as a treat every once in a while
