We're going camping somewhere in Northern California for 4 days.I've cut her hair to about an inch long and she uses Frontline Plus. She's a small dog too. Will I be able to see the ticks better if her hair is short? Should I bring her shampoo and other grooming supplies with me?

She's losing fur in balls. It's all over our house and when she's brushed, it never ends. We just can't seem to brush her enough to where she won't shed. Are there any products out there that will work? Help! I want my house back!

The humane society told us he was half lab and half german shepard and we can see the lab in him but not so much german shepard.I have a picture of him in my 360 in with the pictures of my yard. His coat is smooth like a lab accept around his neck, the fur stands up. He's mostly black with some white on his chest and he has some real dark brown around his muzzle and on his legs. He has realy long legs and loves to run and is realy fast. He has a deep ribcage and is very lean and slim. He has a long, narrow muzzle. He is extremely intelligent, I can teach him a new trick in mattter of hours. He has webbed toes like a lab but doesn't like water much. He hates the sprinkler and swimming pool and refuses to swim. He will only wade if we take him out to rivers or lakes. He is a very good guard dog, he would not hesitate to defend us to the death. He loves to chase anything that will run including our kids and cat and anyone on a bicycle. Any ideas?

She's about 3 months old and for the past few weeks she wakes up at odd hours of the night to go outside. It takes me about a good 30mins to an hour to fall back asleep. So by the time I've just started to rest she has to go again. Last night I probably slept around 2 hours. This has caused me to be on a short fuse with her and I don't think it's good for her training or myself. I'm the only caretaker of this little pup. I love her, but if I don't get a good nights sleep soon I dunno what I'm going to do. I've tried taking her out before we go to bed, stopping her from taking naps around bedtime, walking her at night. I'm kindof at the end of my rope here.. any suggestions?

I have a 3 month old chi-pin. I've discovered this past week that walks are not for her. She either is running ahead, stopping to roll over, stopping to pick up debris, or just lays down and won't move. Will playing inside be enough exercise for her or should I just keep at the walking thing even though I spend more time "dragging" than walking.

This isn't an attack, I just want to know. Do any of you hardcore christians out there find yourself basing your important decisions on life based on what the church says or do you sometimes think outside the box and think for yourselves and listen to what your heart and mind say?

I have an Eskimo Spitz. Where his tail curls over his back he is scratching so much that he has ripped out alot of his hair, the skin is red and there are some spots that have scabbed over. I bathed him in an antibacterial shampoo that was supposed to help with crusts and scabs but he is still digging. He doesn't have ANY fleas and he is an inside dog. He doesn't go outside and roll in the grass. He is 2 years old and this has just recently started. Any ideas?

I knew a dog that the owners would put a shock collar to make her stop barking. But the dog got excited everytime she got shocked and kept barking and barking and eventually got burned. That was a weird dog. How about you?

when you blow in a dog's face he gets mad at you? But when you take him in a car, he sticks his head out the window!

My dog is so guilty of this.
