Its a stage and I've had dogs that only humped cats. I had a female dog that humped cats. They will grow out of it. Neutering and spading (which I don't do) will also stop the behavior.

humping is a way of domination. So the dog is trying to dominate the cat.

cuz he's a male dog and wants something to hump since he's not fixed....maybe you should get a girl dog too

That's how dogs say their in charge. My dog does that to some dogs that SHE comes around to tell them that she is the dominant dog out of the two...

he is doin this to show his dominance over your cat , he wants to be the boss of the house and is afraid that the cat thinks hes got all the control .... i,d just push him away and tell him no! hopefully he will learn its not all about him! lol.... good luck

Its doing that to show that he is dominate (or "leader of the pack")over the cat.

Is your dog even fixed? Ive seen it when they are fixed and they still do that, theres nothing wrong with him other then the fact that he's horny.
