Squishy face syndrom - that's not a medical term but the smooshy faced dogs are known for this. They probably figure its nothing to worry about and you should have checked breed specifics. My mom has a pitt pug that was found in a box and dumped. (Someone trying to create mini pitts) He has a stuffy sound from the pug in him all the time.
I would run a vaporizor if its real bad. When my dogs have gotten colds I have put vicks on top of their nose. Not much a very very thin line. Their noses are sensitive.

SERIOUSLY----------IT'S EITHER RUNNY OR CONGESTED, NOT BOTH. SOUNDS LIKE ALLERGIES..........I GIVE MY SHIH TZU
1/2 TAB OF BENADRYL DAILY ACCORDING TO MY VETS INSTUCTIONS - AND GUESS WHT, NO MORE RUNNY NOSE.

Do you smoke??
My friends dog does that and the vet said it is because they smoke in the house.??.
