when you blow in a dog's face he gets mad at you? But when you take him in a car, he sticks his head out the window!

My dog is so guilty of this.

And I have to add this, because it is so funny. Why do people say it is my breath when they could never have possible smelled my breath. Is that not the stupidest answer you could give. Anyway it may be true on some days, But how the HEL would they know that piece of info. Sorry it is just funny as hell sometimes to read these things

Actually, my dog loves for me to blow in her face!!!
In all honesty though, its probably mean of me on my part, because I really think she wishes she had gotten to eat what I had. I like to watch her try to figure out all the smells... like after I eat a cheeseburger, steak, bacon, eggs, toast, lasagna, etc.
Oh well, I do feed her leftovers - sometimes, if there is any leftover, but its just a little thing I do that I find amusing & interesting. Dogs have an amazing sense of smell, and smell all the ingredients separately. They don't just smell the "cheeseburger". They smell the cheese, meat, seasonings, ketchup, tomato, mustard, onion, and bun as individual flavors, more than we do.
So, yeah, I think its interesting to watch and/or notice to see how different dogs react to different situations, like blowing in their face, sticking their head out of the car windows, taking baths, etc. They are crazy, but hilarious & funny too!
They are a lot like people in that, each one has their own personality, characteristics, and/or preferences. I own 2 adult dogs, 5 "teenager" dogs, and 3 puppies right now. They are quite the source of entertainment!!!
; )

I totally know what you are talking about. I have a basset hound who is 11 weeks old and I can blow in her face and she will snap at me immediately. But if I am taking her to the vet she wants to have her head out the window to smell all the different things around. So I definatly know where you are coming from.

Although you can smell it and people around you also cant smell it but your dog's nose is 200 times more powerful. So it is overwhelming to them. For sticking his head out of the window is to pick up smell of other dogs in the vicinity.

That's because they don't want to share doggy mints with us.Maybe they don't like the smell of our breath.Me i would have somebody drive, sit in the back with him and when he sticks his head out the window do it too.Blow in his face as the wind blows just to mess with him.See what reaction you get then.

Same with my dog. However, it just loves me blowing on it's stomach. It gets this funny expression on it's face and its eyes roll about.

How true, I always have one with his head hanging out of the window and the other in the bed of my truck hanging over the side!
