dogs and cats both have antibacterial qualities in their saliva. that is why they naturally lick their wounds... it speeds up the healing process. we don't have those qualities. our saliva is a breeding ground for bacteria.

As they do put the nastiest things in their mouths they are also constantly drooling and washing bacteria away. This is why a cat bite can be so bad. Cats do not drool and the bacteria festers in their mouths. When cats bite they transmit the bacteria under the skin and into the blood stream.

A huge part of it isn't that they are cleaner, its that the many of
the various bacteria etc. that do well in a dog's mouth would die
in a human's mouth and visa versa.

Getting slobbered on by a dog is less likely to cause problems
because his bacteria are more likely to die in you then if you
got slobbered on by a friend (no matter how cute he or she is).

Chances are: Whatever is living in your friends mouth can
live in you too.

It's not that their mouths are cleaner, it is that humans can't catch most the dog germs they have, while we are suseptable to all of the bacteria in another human's mouth.
There are no antibacterial properties in a dog's saliva.

it truly is an hardship-free one. If the international receives too warm, we've shown that we may be able to live on it because the "Cradles of Civilization" were in warm, dry aspects. If the international receives chilly, then we've already shown that we may be able to face up to ice a lengthy time period, and that is with none "severe" technologies. If the international receives overpopulated, it really is going to, out of necessity, stability itself out. i do not imagine we want to rigidity about surviving the subsequent one hundred years. the actual question is a thanks to we save the subsequent one hundred years from transforming into the subsequent darkish Age.

think about it, they aren't. That's an old wives tale and totally isn't true. It's about as true as the one about dog's saliva helping cuts and scrapes heal faster.

if you pay close enough attention....when a human has a cut etc it takes forever to heal....when a dog has one theirs heals faster because they constantly clean it....there is something in a dogs saliva that heals wounds faster
