Eating grass seems to be a normal behavior for dogs even though we tend to think that their diet should consist of other things. There have been a
number of studies done trying to link grass eating with illness, vitamin or mineral deficiencies, lack of roughage in the diet and other things ---
all without producing a strong correlation to any particular problem.
It is interesting that some dogs choose particular spots. If the
grass is different in this spot it may just taste better. I know of
several dogs who eat grass that other dogs have urinated on. If
it is possible that this is happening it might explain the preference for these spots, since many dogs urinate in the same spot frequently.

Eating grass is a natural for dogs. They use the grass to help digestion. Often times it's because their stomach is upset & they need help getting it up.

It is normal for dogs to eat grass...

Just don't let her eat too much of it..

Also, my dog got worms from eating grass b/c my neighbors dog was not the cleanest.. and the vet told me that when it rains, that dog's uncleanliness is washed into out yard, leaving it in the grass...

Eating grass is how dogs settle an upset stomach. Perhaps yer pooch ate something disagreeable. That's the natural way for it to sort things out. If (s)he doesn't get better in a coupla days, take to vet.

its normal for a dog to eat grass because if it ate too much or if it feels sick it will eat grass to make it throw up or to make it use the bathroom.

I have acutally ask the vet this. The reason dogs eat grass is because they don't feel good or they r sick or think they r sick. It usually nothin serious though. O and sumtime old dogs eat grass cause it makes them feel better. For an example my dog just got stitches cause she got hurt and she would go outside and go staigth for the grass. I dunno it just makes them feel better, but don't worry about it almost all dogs do it.

I agree with the other posts. I have a Pomeranian that eats grass on a regular basis. I have been told it aids in digestion and can assist them with an upset stomach. I just don't let her eat much of it, and it never causes problems...

that perfectly normal. a stray cat that came to my house was eating a lot grass and even leaves from my short palm tree. My dad said it's because they don't get enough vitamins in their systems. So it's perfectly normal. Even good for them.
