We use purina one. I was just wondering if there was anything else that is good for a dog. She has arthritis, and she eats well. she is about 6 pound, and shes a purebred chihuahua.

I have been working with him for a week, praising him when potties & poos outside, He only potties inside (not poo thank God) but he doesn't seem to be getting it, usually I catch him squatting & scoop him up before any gets anymore out. I do let him out regulary, the recommended amount but he just seems to wait until we are back indoors.

I have a 4 month old daughter, and I plan on getting a chocolate lab soon, my mother thinks that it way to early. I think that if you teach the puppy to be easy around her he'll know before she starts crawling. And plus they can grow up together. : )

She is particularly bad about chewing on things when she is put outside. She eats our plants (prefers flowers) and just today she ripped up a cushion on one of our patio furniture chairs. I purchased some bitter spray (rosemary) from PetsSmart but it doesn't seem to work. We give her chew toys but it seems she would rather chew other things. She seems to exhibit this behavior when she is left alone outside in our yard. When I bring her inside she is less likely to chew on things but I can't have a dog that lives inside exclusively.

I have a 5 month old lab mix. My other dog hardly ever farts and this one farts a few times a day. I'm really being serious here, too, so please don't give me stupid responses. Do I need to change his food? Or is this normal?

I think this is a very good question. I'm curious on how you put a handle on it, besides putting the dog on a leash & walking him so he burns some else's lawn.

My new puppy is upset when in his crate. I crate him during the day for 3-4 hours at a time and at night. I am afraid he is suffering from seperation anxiety...or is it something else? Is it normal to whine and bark and if so, for how long?

My 4 month old puppy (a beagle/britney spaniel mix) is slightly overweight so the vet told me to cut down to 2 meals a day since I did that he's been constipated and generally cranky! (probably from the constipation) any ideas on what I can do to help him? (douching is not an option) thanks!!

She's very good around the house, but I cant even take her for a walk as she tries to attack other dogs and people. At home she has to be locked away if visitors come as she cant be trusted.
She only likes a hand ful of peopl in total. She has not been mistreated in any way. I cant see any reason for this behavior.
Any suggestion? Also, impossible to take holiday as I dont think any kennels in the West Midlands would look after her.
If anyone knows of a good Dog kennels in the Dudley area I would appreciate your knowledge.
many thanks.
