It is the sodium levels in the food. Cheap dog food is high in sodium. In the sun the moisture evaporates out of the poo and the sodium (salt) is left.

I surely have owned 4 Jack Russells (2 at present) who all loved to solar bath. None ever had a subject matter and they under no circumstances wore sunscreen. he's superb. keep in recommendations... dogs were once wild animals, and nonetheless have those instincts. he will bypass out of the solar if he's too warm or getting sunburn.

My cak goes red if I leave it in the sun...I'd assume my dog's would too.

It is not because of the sun but due to the bones your dog has eaten. It is correctly answered as calcium. This is why it crumbles. It has nothing to do with cheap dog food.

It is a symptom of cheap dog food which contains high levels of sodium and crude ash. If this is happening to your dog up his quality of food. You will feed him a smaller quantity which can mean that it will work out at exactly the same price or cheaper to feed him a better food. I bet he is worth the effort.

It's calcium.....from dogs which have been given bones to chew. You just notice it more when the sun reflects off it.

I am assuming cak is poop. My dog's poo dries out, but it doesn't change color.

I always thought it came from dalmations.
