In this country there are over 5 million, it's one of the most populer breeds and as been for over 100 years, with only 556 deaths in the past 15 years due to dog attacks and those being caused by 56 breeds why do people think that there is danderous pit bulls around every conner. This should prove that most pits are owned by people who take the time to train and keep thier pet pits the right way. If they were as bad as what the news and others make them to be then there would be a death by them everyday and a whole lot more attacks. Over 5 million, you have better odds of getting killed by lighting or attacked by a shark than by a pit bull. I las Vegas there as been no deaths caused by pits for over 20 years and only 5 bad attacks. We have a huge dog fighting problem in N. Las Vegas would you not think our numbers would be higher. These numbers include las vegas, N Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Nellis air forice base, Puramp, and Mopa

I posted the other day in regard to my sick puggle, now she is on medicine and I cant get her to take it, what should I do? I have tried hiding it in cheese and some other foods, but she seperates the pill and spits it out. The liquid medicine is much easier, but these small quarter tablets are a nightmare. I get aggrevated with her when she wont take it, and dont waant to hurt her by forcing it in her mouth. I have tried holding her mouth shut and massaging her throat as well, no luck. Please help me and my sick puppy!

On my little bro's insistance we bought a male Golden Retriever pup. It was 2 weeks and mother's milk fed when we brought it home. It's 2 months old now and is healthy. But I always doubt if what we're doing 4 him is adequate or not since no one we know has a similar breed. We took him to a vet and till now have fed him milk only. But today when we tried feeding him a chicken bone he ate it. So has the time come to start his solid food? We live in Central India where it's above 40 degrees in summer and not below 15 rest of the year. So tell me about his place of stay(I don't have a kennel), bathing and working-out routines.

My dog has have chronic diarrhea for the last couple of months and yesterday started having some bright red blood in her poop. She seems fine otherwise, most of the time. mostly normal energy levels, doesn't seem to be losing weight, appetite seems fairly normal. I have no idea what is wrong except maybe stress. I've had her to the vet and the vet can't find anything wrong with her. What might her problem be??

About 2 weeks ago I brought a stray puppy home , she has a croped tail and ears , so I figured she was in pretty good health but every since I brought her home my other dog has gotten sick , hes had diarhea for a week now and yesterday I found a pile of blood , smelled horrible . Im not sure which dog it came from so when I walk them I check thier poop , but no signs of blood . I dont have money for a vet so Im confused on what to do . any suggestions would be helpful .

My dog is really terribly and insanely scared of any loud noises be it a thunder, a parade band, or a firecracker.Is this phobia effecting it`s growth, is it a natural instinct ? it`s a german-shepherd...a she dog.Would it drive it crazy and make it lose it`s mind ...are there anyways to help it get over it`s phobia ? please help ...

I have a 3 year old white female pit bull and she is my life! I was wondering why people have to talk bad about dogs that they probably haven't even met! Just cause one pit is bad don't mean that, they all are!! Mine is a baby and wouldn't hurt a fly!!!
