I like the name Buster. Sounds like a good name for a weiner dog. My Mom had one when she was a teenager and his name was Toby. What about Zeus? That's a big strong name for a little dog.

I prefer people names for my animals, because my animals are family!
My dogs' names are Trenity, Eddie and Rosie, I also have 3 cats named Seymour, Audrey, and Ethan.
Going through baby names books always helps! Try babycenter.com, they have lists of baby names on there.
How about, Timothy, it sounds like a good name for a little dog. Kind of like Tiny Tim!

Does your dog have a distinct personality?? Does he have any distinquishable markings that tickle your fancy?? Look for unusualy things about your dog. Maybe something will catch your eye. For example: my chihauhau had a patch of pink on his nose when we got him, we therefor named him patch. Hope my suggestions help you pick a name.
here are some possible names for a brown dog: cocoa, brownie, cinnamon-can be used for brown or red colors. Also since dog is small breed and is small is stature how about tiny, bitsy, teenie, or any combination of names.

Dunkan!!! Cutest name ever for a dog...but i reall suggest you get to know your puppy first because it all depends on it's personality!!! But i'm sure you'll pick something that suits him...don't rush it though...you have to call him that for the rest of his life lol.
