I want to use Frontline Plus on my dog. Should I give him a bath before I do this? And, will it make his coat greasy or oily?

I love Frontline Plus! Yes, I generally give a bath first and when completely dry, apply.

And after a day or so, you can't tell where it was applied.

it is o.k. to give him a bath but wait several hrs until you put the frontline on and don't give him a bath no earlier than 3 days after . at first it will be greasy but that goes away and it is recomended that the dog don't get in your bed or anything and that you don't pet the dog in that area. the greasiness usually last only about an hr or 2 i use it all the time and it works and it don't mak a mess

If he really needs a bath, I would definitely do it a few days before hand simply because a majority of dog shampoos contain detergents that will strip the medicine off. And Frontline works with your dog's natural oils, so it won't look or feel any different.
