My Dog, Angel, was diagnosed with Lymphoma and treated with Chemo over 4 years ago. (Dogs don't get sick or lose their hair as people do) Up until a few weeks ago, she was in perfect health. Recently she started gagging and having shortness of breath. These are unlike the symptoms she had before. The Veterinarian
examined her and said her lungs and chest were clear but her Tonsil was enlarged. He removed it and I am waiting for the test results to come back to see if it is Lymphoma. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar situation ...

I have only contacted this breeder via email so far. The breeder has agreed to a 2 year health guarantee and has sent pictures of the puppy. I just have some concerns about not actually meeting the dog or the seller first. I am also curious as to how payment and delivery is supposed to take place. He says that he will send me the billing details after I provide him with my address and then I can wire him the money. I emailed him back and am requesting references, the dog's pictures, and details in writing. If anyone has actually done this or if you have breeding experience, please give me your opinions.

This is more of a statement than a question but I was wondering if others have the same problem.

I have a Doberman Pincsher that is over 100lbs. He loves people especially kids and when he sees other people he gets really excited. He thinks that everyone he sees wants to pet him. Unfortunately for my dog it seems that just because he is a doberman people run from him. I hate that people discriminate dogs just because of reputation. All you have to do is ask if he is dangerous. I mean, would who would walk a vicious dog by people so it can attack and have lawsuit. Tell me your experiences.

3 month old australian shephard loves to knock over water dishes. I even put out a kidde pool for him to play in but that gets muddy and empty real fast. It's really hot here so I'm worried he'll become dehydrated while I'm away.

Also he runs in to the house if the door is even a little bit ajar. He's always dirty and muddy from splashing in the pool and gets it all on the furniture and floor.

Any tips on how to train him to not do these? I did manage to train him to sit, shake hands and lay down but that's about how far my expertise goes.

I have a boxer and hes about 5 months old. He seems to do really well for periods of time then he floods my floor. He has no problem when it comes to bowel movements. Its kind of like he dosent have the control. Any ideas would be helpful.

I need some effective treatment ideas for getting rid of fleas in the yard (they are really bad), and for treating my dogs. Please tell me if you know of any, please nothing too expensive (I have 4 dogs, 2 inside and 2 yard dogs, so it has to be affordable). We have tried pretty much everything at Lowe's and Wal-Mart for the yard. I have tried pretty much every flea shampoo on the shelves. Thanks. Serious answers only, please no "I don't know, but good luck" answers. Home remedies welcomed.

I'm a dog breeder and have always been able to rely on temperature drop to determine whelp; however, this time her temp has been below 100* for five days now and she is showing no signs of labor - is this normal? - has anyone else ever experienced this? - should I call my vet?

My husband and I have a great dog. There is only one problem with him. Whenever we go somewhere and we leave him home he either pees or poops in the house. It is only when we are gone and he has never ever gone in the house when we have been there. We take him out before we go anywhere and we have this big goodbye ritual where we give lots of attention to him before we go. The average time that we are gone is like 30 minutes to like two hours, and since he does not do it when we are there and he goes for longer sometimes when we are there we know it is not a medical problem. We were wondering what we could do to stop this? We have gotten onto him for it and it doesn't work, but we have also just ignored it because we thought it would be his way of trying to get attention, but that didn't work either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
