You probably need to see your vet. Make sure his blood sugar doesn't fall too low by using Nutrical. Bottle feed small meals frequently. Your vet would be most likly to help.

How old is he? Have you tried getting some 'Just Born' puppy formula? You can get that at any farm supply store like Tractor Supply or your vet. Anyway, get that and feed him slowly with a dropper - he should pick up quickly with that then gain enough strength to suck from a bottle. Where is the mother? What kind of puppy is he?

If he is a very young puppy the nutr-cal wont help, his body cant process it yet.
If he is too weak to nurse on his own, use a syringe and put a baby nipple on the end of it, that way you can slowly push the milk into his mouth. Try placing the nipple to the side of his mouth because as the milk goes into his mouth he may choke, it is nearly impossible for a human to put the correct amount of milk in their mouth.
If you have another mom that will accept him, then by all means let him stay with her, she will do the nasty job of poop and pee pee control for you. Don't depend on him nursing her on his own, you will still need to feed him at least every 3 hours (day and night) If you have one of the baby bottles he should drink at least 1/2 TBSP every 3 hours (according to his weight)
That's about 5cc if you use the syringe with the nipple on the end.
I have a 6oz I am raising on a bottle now.
Good luck

i would take him to the vet as well...but you can also bottle feed for a couple of weeks and then try putting him with another nursing mother. The vet should be able to give you somehting with great vitamins as well as tell you if there may be somthing else going on instead.

In a blender combine 4 cups of goats milk
2 tbsp of liquid honey
2 raw egg yolks
1 beef liver or kidney on alternating days
1 tomatoe, peeled
blend until smooth then add 1 more cup of goats milk
blend on liquify setting
bottle feed the pup as much as he will take every 2 hours...even if you have to wake him up it absolutly HAS to be every 2 hours or he will not make it.

Use a mix of baby formula and high protein baby cereal, make it thin. Use a eye dropper to fed the puppy. I have used this and it as worked.

You should see your vet. And if you put him on other mom's, he won't know his real one.
