It's the name of Oz's band in Buffy - The Vampire Slayer. The name of the band refers to the Azaria Chamberlain disappearance, an incident which occurred in Australia in 1980. A baby disappeared under mysterious circumstances near Uluru. The mother, Lindy Chamberlain claimed "a dingo ate my baby!". (She was at first convicted and later acquitted of murdering her baby.)

The only place I have heard this is from an episode from Seinfeld. It's a quote by Elaine.

Elaine quoted it in Sienfeld and made it popular, however, Elaine (or rather, the Sienfeld writers) got it from the real incident that happend in Austrailia.

Everyone is right.
