hes not bad about getting in and all but he wont stop crying. ive tried everything but he cries for literally HOURS. his crate is next to our bed. we tried putting treats in it and everything. if we put him out in the other room we will still hear him loud and clear. HELP

I'm going to go get a puppy tomorrow and i have to choose between a maltese, maltipoo, or shih tzu. If you have any information regarding behavior that would be great. I also have a Golden Retriever so i need a breed that gets along well with other dogs.

He barks alot when he wants attention, he's wiry haired, tan, long tail, small dog, pointy ears. I'll send you a pic if not. Nobody seems to be looking for him though.

If all the dogs in a litter go to their new homes at around 8 weeks of age, would they remember some sort of connection if they met up with a sibling in the future? Would the mother remember some connection with one of her babies? Would any of the pups remember their mother - say months, a year or more later?

Papillons are butterflies dogs they have butterfly ears and are or can be show dogs. go to www.showpaps.com and you can see what they look like . They are full blood papillons and we are selling them for 250 and we are not getting them register due to cost so much. The mother had 5 and I have 3 left. 2 girls and 1 boy. They are very good dogs and are lovable.

Someone recently told me about a dog food you can buy from Wal-Mart called Maximum Nutrition. This dog food claims not to use fillers or by products, and is comparitivly inexpensive. I've heard it was like a generic version of a well known brand, maybe Purina? Does anyone have expirience or added insight with this brand?

I just noticed this morning that my pekingese' right eye has a small red dot, seems to be swelling or something, it's sorta protruding out from inside the eye, and when I cover her left eye and wave a little something in front of her the eye ball doesn't even move, so i was wonderful if it's like parasites or that eye is completely blind. And is there anyway I can cure this at home, any drugs or shots maybe?

I would like to know at what time does a lab female gets maturity,and does it makes the house dirty ,is it a nuisciance, and till how many days does it have the bleeding .Does she gets once in every month or once in a year is the maturity period.
How should we take care of my pet when she gets the maturity, and how does my pet will be, she will be active or any changes after that.I heard that when the pet gets bleeding that is at the time of maturity we can put one pad for it and put one panty so that it does dirty my place,is that true.
Can you also give me any tips how to teach my dog to sit, wave hello, no biting ,come, stay , shake hand etc.
