Try changing her food- I have an english bulldog that can clear a room. I switched him to a Hill's perscription diet called d/d- haven't had to leave my house since!

If you change his food and that doesn't help then It definitely could be the food you are feeding him, especially if you tend to give him "table" food. My German Shepherd had Horrid Gas at one point in his life.... he was on his way to having what is called Giardia, or commonly known in human cycles as "Montezuma revenge". It is followed by diarrhea which smells equally bad. So if you notice that his bowel movements are very liquid and happen very often, he may have the dreaded problem. It is easily fix with a trip to the vet, with a stool sample for diagnosis (and suggest to your vet to check for Giardia). and if it is, then a subscription of anti biotics. If you dog has access to stagnant water, this could be the source of the condition. There is a vaccination for Giardia, but the condition must be cleared up first, and you dog can get the vaccination each year. It helped my German Shepherd (he liked to eat bunny pooh, and that was his source of the condition) YUCK!
Good Luck.

More than likely, it is diet that is causing the extreme flatulence. Try a premium dog food without all the fillers, corn and soy. Innova EVO is one of the best dog foods presently available. Read the ingredients and compare to your present brand. It cost more, but remember the better the ingredients, the more digestible and the less your dog will eat.
Any changes should be done gradually or your dog will likely develop diarrhea. Begin by adding a small amount of any new food to your dog's food and gradually increase the amount over a period of a week. Be prepared though.....some dogs will simply pick out the food that taste best to them.

I have an Aussie shepherd, too. When I deviate from her Iams diet and give her some people food, watch out. I gave her a little bit of smoked salmon the other night. What a mess!

Probably a change in diet is needed.
Had that same problem with my dog a while back...changed the food to a higher quality brand and the problem was solved.
Perhaps the dog had a mild stomach bug?

It could be the food your are feeding the dog. Does the dog eat dry or moist food? Sometimes that makes a difference...your vet may be able to make a suggestion about a food that could "agree" more with the intestinal tract.

My dog had that for a while, would totally clear a room and leave you gasping for a while. We found that it was the food that we were feeding.......kept to the same brand (California Natural) but switched away from turkey to lamb.....worked wonders!! For some reason turkey is bad for the smells.

Most likely somthing you are feeding.
Sometimes sugar can make them gassey.
A diet that is to rich can also do it.
You may have to try different food to find something that helps.
Also they make a pill for humans maybe ask the vet if it would help the dog.
