You should only have as many animals that you can financially and emotionally take care of.

I always think you should research the dog breed(s) that interest you, make sure you have time, homelife, etc., to give any dog a great life, and the enjoyment of having a new family member. Talk to other rottie dog owners, your vet, etc. As in how many pets to have I personally think 3/4 is a limit, but some people can handle more. But if you start to acquire to many then it can get out of hand, and may not be able to take care of all of them.

As many as you can look after. To know taht do your research on the animals what they need to eat, what exercise they need, what kinds of medical problems will they likely have.

Having a pet is an expensive exercise... and when they get sick that goes up exponentially . I have 3 dogs. Once just had a skin complaint. It cost me over $400 dollars to get fixed. Well worth it as he's a member of the family. But that was only a skin condition, if you have anything major get ready to pay out. My neighbour into vets bills of over $1000 for their dog this month.

Its also a commitment in time and energy, the rottweiler will need lots of exercise.

you shouldnt get more pets than your space/time/cash allows

you should first look into any breed before you get it (ie learn to spell the breed name of course - Rottweiller)

do not get a dog if you cannot afford proper care and have money for emergency care (this includes spay/neuter, vaccinate, food, deworming, etc)

make sure you have a well fenced yard or dog run - you shouldnt get a dog if you are in a situation where the dog would have to be tied up

if you rent you will need landlord approval but I suggest buying a home before you get a dog because you never know if you have to move if you will be able to find a place that allows dogs

i have a rottweiler and i would not suggest you getting 2 if you have never had 1 before. They can be quite a handful if they are not trained. Males and females can be dog aggresive, and if not socialized with children they can be aggresive towards them too. but once you have done all of this rottweilers are the BEST pets in the world!!! :-D

You should consider the amount of space you have as larger dogs need some outdoor (as well as indoor) space, and how much time you will be able to spend with them to train them.

I don't like rotweilers they hurt people. I think you should try to get a different kind of dog they are better.
