He barks alot when he wants attention, he's wiry haired, tan, long tail, small dog, pointy ears. I'll send you a pic if not. Nobody seems to be looking for him though.

It sounds like a poodle/Chihuahua cross that we had.

As an owner of two dogs, I beg you to go to the vet and have him scanned for a microchip. I would be sick worried if my dog disappeared... If no microchip is found, look for tattoos, place an ad in your local vet clinics and pet stores.

Sounds like he might be a terrier or terrier mix. A vet can probably tell you. Check out the list of breeds at:

Sounds like a "wiener" dog. They have that type of hair too. Go to AKC.org and they have an area for different types of dogs.

Take him to the vets and see if he's chipped. That will help you find his owner - I'm sure they are looking for him.
