Siberian Husky. They are kind and family loving pet. They are poor guard dogs because they love everybody including other dogs. Good for your family especially if you got children in the house. And huskies are very beautiful. Make yourself proud by adopting one.

Gentle mannered, sensitive, playful and affectionate is the temperament of the Bichon Frise.
Do you mean a Siberian Husky because there is no breed as an Alaskan Husky? If so the breed temperament for the husky is friendly and gentle, but also alert and outgoing. He does not display the possessive qualities of the guard dog, nor is he overly suspicious of strangers or aggressive with other dogs. Some measure of reserve and dignity may be expected in the mature dog. His intelligence, tractability, and eager disposition make him an agreeable companion and willing worker.

Huskies are my dream dog. Even though I plan on having a Lab there's nothing cooler than Huskies. Something about their eyes and the way they are built. I think it's the wild about them. They only reason I can't have one is I know how stubborn they are and how much they are prone to roam and disappear. They bore easily and a bored Husky is a troublesome Husky. Very few people are able to keep these wonderful animals and I am just another who can't. I will always want one and always admire them though. Perhaps someday if I have 100 acres and can fence a large enough area I might have one but they still have that stubborn streak which makes them a hard dog to have.

Siberians have large severe prey drives. They kill small animals. A Bichon Frise is a small animal. i'm bowled over that a Bichon might want to be drained after a mile. they're often little balls of power. is this canines heavily overweight? If she is, then split up the run to some cases an afternoon and slowly artwork as a lot as an prolonged-term. You sound like you're a teenager, so it is as a lot as your moms and dads in the adventure that they're going to look after a Siberian for some thing else of his 12 twelve months existence. once you're lengthy gone, who is going to artwork the canines?

2 very different dogs

Huskies are bred to look after themselves in harsh conditions, sometimes when their owner is not there - for survival.

As a result, they tend to be less excited about human attention than most people are used to.... like if you throw a ball and expect a husky to bring it back, they will probably think "what's in it for me?" and not bother. They are generally more aloof and not as overtly people-loving. If you are picturing a lab or golden retriever with the looks of a husky, you will probably be disappointed.

They also need fairly strict training and someone who understands alpha dog nature. They can be bad with cats and small animals because of hunting instict.

Of course this is a generalization about the characteristics of the breed, doesn't mean every single one is like that.

It depends on whether you want a baby or a teenager. A bichon is a baby all the way, A husky is likely to test you and be harder to train and control. it is all in preference.

Huslies are beautiful dogs but they have some issues.
They are born and bred to run all day pulling a sled and sleep outside in the snow at night. They are highly active dogs and needs tons of exercise. They are also escape artists they will go over under or through anything to get loose to run.
You will need to be very active and get this breed of dog lots of exercise.
Also they "blow coat" twice per year. The hair falls out in clumps. You have to groom thses guys often and not mind dog hair becasue it is all over all the time.
They are great pets for someone who can give them the exercise and time. And yes they are beautiful.
