Occasionally they do, but not usually..I have had many dogs return for a visit..Some recognize every thing, some don't...Moms are more likely to recognize their young, but not always.

Nope, the littermates don't remember one another and the pups don't remember their Mom and vice versa. They do all, as in dogs, love to play with other dogs, great for socializing!!! Its hard to believe right? That when they grow up and are around each other for that period of time, for at least 6 weeks, that then they don't even care nor know about each other after that!!! That's the nature of animals for ya!!!

I have a pair of littermates (male and female) who act like they have never been apart from each other. When we are at the dog park they play their own games and can 'pack' up when playing with some of the other dogs. They are very good at herding the other dogs and work together like they were a single unit. At home they will snuggle with each other but not with our other two dogs. And my female thinks it is her moral imperative to keep her brother inline and will always correct his bad behaviour (even though he is otherwise higher in the pack order). We have met several other littermates who have similar attributes.

No they do not remember.
In fact if you keep two from the same litter and they are the same sex as they get older and reach maturity most will try and kill each other. They will fight.
Dogs do not have that type of connection they understand who lives with them and that person or dogs or cat ot what evers order and place in the pack. All who live with the dog are its pack and each has a place in the pack order.

We have three litter mates (Lab mix) that we got as 12 week old puppies: two males and one female that are now 10 yrs old. They enjoy each others company and play a lot together and groom each other. The biggest one (a male) is clearly the alpha as the others defer to him but he's rarely crabby with them. They all sleep and play together and sometimes they pair up randomly but they never fight, just a rare snap when someone is being too pesty. I'd get litter mates again.

Um...I don't know...I don't think the puppies would remember they had siblings...they might remember they have a mom...and I'm sure the mother would remember them...not specifically but she would remember that she had them.

Not unless they grow up with them. But some dogs DO recognize their own breed if they're around them a lot.
