We have a dog and are dog-sitting a 3 month old bobtail. We noticed these small white worms in a fece in our back yard. We will make sure to take them to the vet. Are these worms dangerous to humans? Is it contageous?

My seven month old basset is outside with 10 acres to roam free on and two cats to harass to his heart's content. But he shreds everything that is not tied down and barks constantly. Please tell me how to make him stop!!!!

My 1 year old jack russel has been fully potty trained for about 7 months. He has been sleeping a lot lately, and today I was sitting on the bed doing paper work, and he was sleeping at my feet and he peed while he was sleeping. Is this normal? Or is there something wrong with him? He also has not been drinking much water lately. I leave a bowl of water out for him, and I give him fresh water everyday, however theres hardly has been any gone at all. Does anyone know what could be going on with him?

lately all she does is lick and clean herself. This is starting to get on our nerves. We hear this licking and lapping all day and night long. She used to play with her stuffed animals( the old taco bell dogs, here lizard, lizard, lizard ones). Now its this slurping sounds and all the time.
Would anybody know why she is doing this? Shes 2 and half years old, and weighs less than 3 pounds, she is the only dog we have along with the cat, and we know the cats not messing with her.

I have a puppy Westie named Hank, and I felt silly standing outside telling him to go potty, so now I say, Do the Hank Machine, and he lets it fly. Does anyone else have a Hank machine, or any other type of machine?

One minute I was playing with her the other minute she was dead on the ground infront of me.She was ran over by a car I can remember her sad yelp as the car ran over her I fell terrible.HELP please help.She was barking at some people walkin on the other side of the road then she ran onto the road and she was run over please please help I feel completely guilty. i just bought a tiny tiny tiny yorkie puppy. we have had her for almost two weeks, and today is the firt day that we had to leave her at home alone for 8 hrs while we are at work. she only weighs 11 oz and sleeps all the time. but we went to the pool for about 30 min and we can back home and she was shaking. she loves being held. i also have stairs so i tried to block them off with laundry baskets. she can barley eat on her own. but there was nothing we could do she had to stay home. i feel so bad. help

Is it okay to leave a new puppy at home during the day while we are at work? I want to get a puppy, but I am not sure that my husband or I will be able to go home at lunch every day to let her out. Can you give us some tips on getting a new pup and teaching it to be a good family member if we are not there all day? I can work from home most Fridays, but she would still be alone for more than half the week. But in the evenings, my two kids will play with her a bunch. Advice???
