You should get your new baby a dog crate and put her in there when you are gone. Put in some of your shirts that you've worn and her favorite doggy toys. She will be more comfortable there than wondering the big house alone. Plus she'll be easier to potty train with the crate. Do some research on the internet for crate training, you'll love the results!

If you have to leave a little puppy alone for a few hours it helps somewhat if you leave a radio playing, or even the TV. They don't feel so quite alone.
A little pooch doesn't know that you'll be coming back, so all kinds of ideas run through their heads. Whenever it's possible, you should be away for only a very short while for a few times, then longer and longer. After a while poochie will take it in stride, knowing that you always come back.

Your dog need time to adjust to the new surrounding. Besides that if your worrying about leaving such a young dog home alone, consider hiring a reliable pet walker, pet sitter or have family, friends come by to play with the dog. Some small dogs get cold easily, just dry her up and keep her warm with a blanket. You maybe could try feeding the dog babyfood, home cooked food as well. Depending on your feeding schedule.

Do the towel with your scent on it in a crate, I know the crate seems mean but it is the best for them they feel safer and it will soon become her place to go when she needs to be alone or is scared, and also put an alarm clock that tocks in the towel so it sounds like her mothers hear beat. Good luck!

Awwwww....puppy! Yes, the blanket with your scent on it is a good idea. Also you could leave on a radio or tv. You might want to consider having a pet sitter come in during the day too. Of course, you could always get your puppy a little friend to keep her company :o)

make sure when u come home, u spend a lot of time with her... don't forget to tell her u love her...maybe ur boss will understand, and u can bring her in a tiny bag to work...a dog that small shouldn't be an issue...if they dont allow it tho, maybe u can bring her in the car with water and food, and when ur on break, u can visit her...dont forget to leave the windows a little down for air,but not enough for her to jump out

all puppies will be scared when left alone, they will soon learn that you will be back. After a while you will have to worry about having a house left when you get home.

Hi there, have a blanket or towel with your scent on it, that way she can curl up with it and know she is still loved, and not abandoned...she sounds really cute!
