My dogs leg may or may not be broken, she is going to the vet tomarrow. She is not in pain, but cant walk on the leg, sometimes she forgets and whimpers a little when she tries to walk on it. When it comes to my dog money is no object, but I would like to know the cost I may be looking at.

I have 2 Shi-Tzu's, my questions are:
Are they prone to vision problems? My male has what i would call normal eyes where my little female has very large eyes. One of her eyes is crossed. While she looks so cute i'm afraid this may cause her problems later in her life. She is only 15 months old.

My second question is, are there different blood lines of this breed? My 2 babies have some very different features. As he is about 22 lbs and a very muscular body. He also has a very long beautiful tail. My little girl is very petite, about 10 lbs and a much shorter and not as full tail.

I am a new owner and love my babies very much and welcome any comments and suggestions given. Thank you

I am wanting to get a bull terrier puppy for our son in any color but white. It can be either sex, with or without papers and it doesn't have to be show dog quality. The runt of the litter would be fine with me and I'm not wanting to spend an arm and a leg! If anybody can let me know where to get one that would be great. I went to puppyfind.com and I never know for sure how many are scams! Please help me find a puppy!!!

My parents have always said that my border collie, rex, had a problem with hair. He's more of an inside dog because he will jump the fence if we let him outside for longer than 30 minutes alone. I suggested shaving him so he doesn't shed as much. Is this a good idea?

My miniature pomerian sometime coughs like she has a fur ball in her throat. She does not throw up. She is 14 years old. When it happens it sounds like she is trying to catch her breath. Is this normal and if not what can I do to help her.

is it's hair already long or does it take a few months to get long?

We have a puppy and we think that the daddy is a cocker spaniel, but so far the puppy has short hair. I'm just wondering if it takes a few months for the hair to get long.

My four year old black lab is laying on the floor wincing. He doesn't seem to be in pain, but his belly is bloated. I took him outside and he wouldn't chase his ball which is not normal. He had some trouble going up and down stairs tonight....he has lime disease, but we caught it early so it shouldn't be a factor...he has farted a few times and it is really stinky, but I keep taking him outside and he won't do his business. Any thoughts?
