What is the temperment/personality of a Bichon? And/Or How much should you spend on purchasing a good one?

'lively and cheerful. They love to play, but aren't hyper. Social and get along well with children and other dogs. they're also good watch dogs

well, if you look at the yahoo! pet part of the web, it could answer your question. just look up bichon and there you go! in pet stores they cost around $1,000 but a breeder will maybe charge less, just a guess, i don't really know! sorry...
