Ok i'm getting a kitten in a week or so and i bought a really cool collar It has a stretchy elastic near the buckle.Its gonna be an indoor cat but i am afraid she will choke herself or hang herself or even worse so does the kitten have to wear a collar??

It needs to be 32x3 in pixels and I really need it because I am doing this thing on a website and this needs to be done. I have looked on google but the smallest they've got is 32x15 and that can't happen! please if anyone knows it would be much appreciated if you tell me

My cat bites me when i pick him up. how do i stop him? my cat can't stop from jumping up at the counters and licking butter. how do i stop him from doing that? he also has been with a different person and sometimes smells like poop & garbage! he is a weird cat!

My cat died recently. She was found sleeping in her usual position on a couch. There were no symptoms, she seemed perfectly normal. The day before she died we lost power and the temperture went down roughly 20 degrees, but it had returned to normal hours before her death. The vet said it was likely a stroke. Any other possibilites?

I have been trying to tame a wild Siamese cat for about three months now.
I do have the cat in my home today out of the snow an cold weather. How
long should it take to get her tamed down enough to even touch her? Is there

We live in a large house and have 6 cats and 2 large dogs. We have had cats for over 10 years and everythings has gone smoothly. Suddenly, last week, we are discovering cat pee in random places. In the cat tent, on a bed, and recently...on the kitchen counter. I could think of several reasons why...what do you think?

1 - Stress?? My mother has a hard time saying no to people and recently, we have had several "other" dogs spend time in our house (dog-sitting) Although they were cute, they were not too nice to the cats...chasing them EVERYTIME they showed their faces!! The cats rarely come up from the basement anymore. Could they be stressed from all of the crazy dogs that have been over lately? (we have had "other" dogs at our house about 5 times in the past few months for about a week at a time)

2 - I brought my cat home (the 6th cat). She was quarentined to my bedroom for about a month (sick) and since she is able to come out, she still spends most of her time in my room..

I just found a tooth in my bed next to where my 5 moths old kitty was sleeping. I checked her mouth and it appears to be one of her back teeth. Im assuming this is normal, but I would like to double check. Im sure Im just being a paranoid mom.

My cat is 11 years old. I brought her to the vet yesterday because she has a huge blood filled pocket in her ear, I noticed it when right when I woke up. The vet said it was a hematoma and surgery was her only option. I am in full panic mode, since she really is an old lady. My fear is not the surgery, it's putting her under with ansethia. I have heard it's more dangerous with cats than dogs.

Can anyone tell me is this safe at her age? I also want to know, if anyone has heard of other options to fix this Hematoma. I am so upset and my heart is broken for her.

Please.....if anyone can advise me I would be forever gratful!

My cat just got declawed and he has been back to the vet numerous times for it but they never do anything to clean them. he has hard blood clots in between his toes and it looks like he is in pain every time he walks or jumps onto the back of my love seat which is his favorite perch. does anyone have any safe non-toxic ideas as to how to clean them and make my little one happy and playful again?

I am going to foster cats and kittens for the humane society .
i'm fixing up our extra room for them . I put in words like designing a room for cats .. etc . Need more ideas ..

If you find pictures etc on the internet it would be aawsome to .

Need some fun ideas as well as practical ideas for huge dog cages for ones that are ill or have kittens.

I want to make it a fun cat room for them .

We adopted this cat when he was just about a few weeks old. He was an orphan... I believe his mom was found dead when he and his sister were rescued. He has never had any interaction with other cats. And he never, ever meows. I've heard him a few times before... but it's a tiny, little meow. What is wrong with him??? Why is he so quiet?

well in a few hrs my daughter cats will be put down, she is almost 8 and her cat would be 3 next month

i have tryed anything to make the cat better and with out alot of money and yes i know that is bad but even if we had the money the vet said we only had a 25% or less that he would live,

first, my cat keeps on returning to a place nearby our house, a tree beside a lake... i cant lock him in cause a part of our house is an open area (the yard) im getting tired of picking him up, this has been going on for weeks now, he's been staying out of the house for 1-3 days and comes home just to eat and sleep and then he goes out again going to the same place.. well its okay for him to go out but sometimes when he comes home, i can see some wounds on his legs... how can i make my cat stay at home?
