No, some cats have wet noses, some have dry noses. If your cat is normal in every other way, don't worry about it.

When your cat normally has a moist nose most of the time and suddenly it becomes dry )for a long period), it MAY idicate a fever of some sort. BUT that is NOT an absolute... sometimes the cat's nose will become dry becuase of the weather or becuase he simply need to drink water. Unless there are other symptoms like hiding, vomiting, not eating, etc.... a dry nose on a cat is no reason to go to the vet (he he he). My cat's nose is often moist but now and again, it will be dry. If you are still concerned, try and get his temperature using a rectal thermometer.

I wouldn't worry about it if that's the only symptom. My cats noses vary between wet and dry all the time.

some cats noses are wet and some are dry..but mine is usually dried..but i dont really see a problem with that....i think sometimes, when my cat gets cold, her nose goes a bit wet....but i read a book that cats noses should be wet at all times....that means its healthy or sumthing......but ur cat should be fine =)
