One boy, one girl, about four months old. When I separate them they cry and cry. Tried putting them in separate rooms-- they cry. Tried putting them in their carriers, they cry and meow. When I let them out, they want to wrestle each other, even though they are sore, especially the girl (who has stitches). It's dangerous for them to wrestle, but it's hard listening to them cry. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on what to do? Thanks.

i'm only posting on here cause i know people will read it.

if you lost a larger black cat somewhere in fairfax virginia, please email me. we found it, fed it, and kept it inside overnight since it was so cold out. we let it out this morning, but feel it will come back (it came back to us after a 5 hour period). we will call animal control tonight when we find it again, but cannot keep it ourselves. we want to give the owner a chance to find it before sending it to fairfax county animal shelter on west ox road. please email me if you think this is your cat

Last night I dropped a piece of paper that was plastic coated. It was part of the packaging to some bacon. It was about 5 inches long and maybe an 1/8 inch wide. The cat grabed it before I could pick it up. He took off running with it as I chased him to get it away. He won, he ate it. Do you think I should be concerned or will it just work its way back out? Thank you for any help you can offer.

I was walking with my pet dog when he discovered a stray kitten in the bushes.Surprisingly, instead of being hostile, they actually start playing with each other. And now,the kitten had followed us home.I plan to keep the kitten but i dont know where to start.I am bringing the kitten for vaccinations and sterilising but not sure whether i can get it done at SPCA or i should just visit any vet.

HI,

I have a 6 week old kitten whom I've had since she was 4 weeks old. Her Mother got ran over by a car & she was abandoned left alone & under weight. Well all that was taking care of shes her normal weight finally and she's on kitten formula. Now the only obstacle left is to tame her any idea's. She's a BRAT she jump & claws furniture, attacks feet's & hands, climbs on bird cages, topples on plant's bites and kicks her feet, dosen't like to be held. The spray bottles a waste of time it scares her and then 5 mins later she's back for more. I NEED HELP

We had two cats that have lived together for about three years now. My son recently moved home with his cat, Vader. We kept him in our son's room until he got his shots and healed from de-clawing. All three cats have been "fixed" and are males. Only one cat JoJo chases Vader and makes his life hell. Vader and Edward get along ok. We recently moved to a new townhome and put the litter box in the garage and want all three cats to use it. Poor Vader has to be taken down to eat and use the potty. He is stressed out as well as we are..............help!!!!!!

Male cat, 3 years old. Always been very clean and used bath or litter tray if stuck in house during day. This problem started in late Summer, but we only found out it was our cat who was to blame for the mess when we saw him doing it.

my grandson has the cat's litter box in his closet and it is not changed often and they use regular clay litter. When you come as well as when you come into the house you can smell it but it is usually quite strong in his bedroom. I'm concerned about health dangers long term from having to smell this offensive odor. His parents will not use the odor free clumping litter so he can change the box himself.

I have a 7 month old cat, and last night, out of the blue, he climbs on my bed, lays next to me, then stood up and urinated. He is neutered, so he wasn't spraying. I don't understand what is going on or what to do...

I think it was from the food I fed him...it was a mixture, one of my concoctions. ^^; Cream of potato soup, and ramen noodles. This stuff was about a day old, even if it had been in the fridge for the majority of that time. Now...what my cat was doing was explained to me by a friend. My cat is fixed, and it was only done a few months ago. That is why he is marking his territory and still going after the female cats I have. This is my problem-my cat was puking a bit last night, and it was the ramen. He was moving slow yesterday..like in slow-motion, and he just lays there...I'm really worried about him.. >< Can anyone help me? I'll be happy to give more information if need be, but please... I don't want my cat to die because of something I did or my lack of ability to help him.

I already have a six year old female domestic shorthair who I adopted as a kitten and four Golden Retrievers. The dogs and cat get along together - not to the point of cuddling up - but they all live in my house in harmony. So the dogs are cat friendly, but I am wondering if adopting another cat into my household is fair to the new cat.

Would an adult cat or a kitten adapt best to this situation?

I think a new cat would be good company for my existing cat and I would like to rescue a deserving cat!

Any comments please.......

My 3 yr old cat wants nothing to do with catnip at all is this normal? I thought all cats liked catnip. He doesn't like milk either I have tried to leave a little bit of milk out every so often but he just won't try it.
Also.... I never see him drinking from his water bowl. Maybe he sips it when I am not home or something but I have never personally seen him drink.... does anyone else have this problem too?

I read somewhere that when a cat gives you their backend or lays on it's back that is a sign of trust....true or myth?
