my toes in the middle of the night when im sleeping, i have to leave my room door open at night for air otherwise i cannot sleep. since a few months ago my mad cat has watched me twiddling my toes in my sleep and i can only assume he thinks they are some type of small prey,it is a very shocking and painful expierience to be woken from your sleep this way,he bites my toes while attacking with his claws ,i once kicked my foot out in shock and he literally threw across the room into the dressing table with a thud and scarpered, but it has made him more determined to "kill my toes" at night, socks on do not stop him either, and if i lock him in a room he meows all night and scratches the door paint and wallpaper near the door to get out,any ideas anyone ! HELP.

she just fell off the banister, which is about two inches higher than a basic room door. she went to a dark corner and just sat there. i took her to my room and laid her on my bed. she is sleeping. before she fell, she was really hyper and playing. and now, she seems sluggish and sleepy and tired. when i rub her forehead, she purrs. but i feel like something is wrong. i read somewhere that cats are really good at hiding their injuries. its too late to go to the vet, its closed. and i dont know what to do! will she be ok?? when she fell, she did not land on her feet. maybe on her side?? it happened so fast! please tell me what to do??

I have had my cat for about 9 months now and she has never properly used the litter box,she does not cover her poop.I think it is because she left her mommy to early because she was just a kitten when i got.Well she has just had her own litter of kittens and I'm concerned that she will not train them properly because she is not trained herself. What can I do?

This outside mother cat moved her 3 or 4 week old kitten from a barn that was fixed up with a pet taxi and blankets, from the barn to under my house where it is full of water and then she leaves it and it is steady yelping loud and it acts as if it is starving. I brought the kitten into my home and now am hand feeding it every 4 hours and it seems to be more content and less stressed than it were outside all by itself . Before moving it into my home I tried to get the mother cat to take it back and she just act as if she had no desire what so ever for the little kitten she just left and went away. What do I do? Am I doing the right thing.

I have 4 cats. 2 boys 2 girls.Neutered.
They are not allowed in the house at night when we are in bed.
They have access to our lean-too, they have enough beds for all of them.
Food and water and generally very comfortable.

The prolem im having is that one of them is spraying (at least i suspect its them could always be a visiting cat)
They are spraying up any white goods thats out there. Tumble dryer and freezer.
Sometimes its my wellies.
WHY, WHAT can i do.
They have plenty of room and are neutered and nothing has changed with-in our lifes.
ANY IDEAS?

Please no sarcastic comments like just get rid of the cats.

My 12 and 14 year old boys think it is the name for elbow skin and keep saying it in sentences like "STOP SQUEEZING MY WENIS" and "YOUR WENIS IS WRINKLY" they won't stop and its annoying. Is it really elbow skin?

He's not being loud or anything he just won’t go away. We tried to shoe him away, but he just keeps coming back. I think it belongs to someone because he looks VERY HEALTHY, but he's not fixed (I guess he has balls so I guess he's not fixed) and we can't keep him because we already have 2 kittens (1 male, 1 female, both about 3 or 4 months old) and 3 ferrets. Is there anyway to make this cat go away and not come back??

No big dogs and shooting him ARE NOT OPTIONS!!!

She was fine the first week and half that we had her. Her and her brother cost us a pretty big chunk of change and she's a sweetie but she won't stop pooping everywhere. We clean her litter pan (we have 3litter pans) daily. We don't know what else to do. HELP! PLEASE!

My parents have a large backyard where they're growing many vegetables. They have a major pest problem, mostly gophers. We've had cats in the past and they were instrumental in keeping the pest problem under control. My parents want to adopt two cats who will be living outdoors. They are planning on going to the humane society to adopt but would like to know how old the cats should be and what genders.

It would be so helpful if someone who has knowledge about outdoor cats could share their advice about this. I have heard it is best to get feral females. Would I ask the humane society specifically for feral cats when I go there?
