Me and my neighbours have the same problem, my neighbour fixed it by buying a product from the supermarket that deters cats. Its like a bottle of jelly bits and it smells like a cross between orange and alcohol; it costs about a fiver.
She sprinkled it under her doormat to keep the rain off and hasn't had a problem since.

The cat is marking territory....to stop it, it must smell the scent of something bigger and tougher than it is, therefore, the only solution is that you must mark your territory....this will require you to drink several pots of coffee, go outside, and piss on your door. This needs to be done once a week to keep it fresh.

This is one topic thats gets me seething! Why should we have to put up with neighbours' cats sh***ing and P***ing in our garden. We like to sit out there in the summer, we have spent a fair amount of money to make it look nice. The last thing we want to come across is cat s***, which we very often do. What right have neighbours got to let their animals foul OUR garden.
I'm sick to death of cleaning up other peoples cat s*** from our nice garden. What is the point of having cats if theyre just left out to roam around?? Why should we have to clean up after them. If i wanted cat s*** in my garden, then i would go out and get a cat!! We have spent money trying to stop these cats. We have bought powders, pastes, pellets, even one of those high pitched cat scarers (cost us around £21), the cats just came up closer to see what it was!! We have even tried putting tacks on the top of the fences, The horrible cats just tip toe in between the tacks!! We have tried most things, short of getting a pellet gun. Cost us an absolute fortune, and for what? To try and stop OTHER PEOPLES cats. They are intruding on our property and we just have to put up with it. They also stink the place out with their sticking urine. If i have one pet hate THIS IS IT!!

wash the area well with a solution of biological washing powder or liquid, then sprinkle some drops of lavender, citronella or olbas oil in the area. He won't spray there again.

It's not urine. He's scenting because he is marking his territory. Don't clean it with bleach. Try Citrus cleaners and sprinkle pepper down. If you see him, squirt water at him as he approaches and he will learn to stay away eventually.
