Now, before anybody says anything mean or rude, I love my cats as if they were my children. They have the best of care, and always stay indoors. I have two cats, and there's no chance of them getting outside, as I live in a 3rd story apartment, so if they ran out the front door they'd be stuck in the little hallway and I could easily catch them. They're both already declawed in the front, but they're still scratching the furniture, mostly the tabletops, when they run! Has anyone else had their cats back claws removed? If so, what was your experience like? I don't really want to put them through surgery again, but getting rid of them is not an option, and neither is getting my expensive furniture scratched!

I have 2 cats, and last night, my female was jumpy as heck, and my male cat was playing in the entryway. What he was doing was the weirdest thing I have ever seen him do,and the funniest. My entryway connects to the kitchen, and he would stand in the pantry, and straight run to the entryway, land on the rug, and go rug surfing. The rug slides with him. He did this for over an hour!

What does your cat do during full moon nights.
I know the full moon is tonight, but my cats just started early.

Ive had my tic tic since she was maybe 3wks old. She was abandon by her mom so i did my best in taking care of her. She's about 4 years old now. But since she was young ive always noticed something was off about her, she's always been very shakie. If she would be laying down and were to here something, most cats pop ther heard up and point there ears up, she does all that but her head starts to rattle. also when she runs around her back legs seem to go out on her every once in a while at least once a day she'll stumble. When she jumps up on the furniture, she over shots it and falls off. Almost every night her and my other cat play with each other and they'll run around, but she always falls into walls or just plan runs into them, but she never seems to be hurt. Besides those problems she's seems to be a happy hearlth cat. could she have some kind of neurological problems. my mom thinks so, but she tells me cats like that dont last long. Can these be curried.

Can you turn an outside cat into an inside only cat with no problems? I am keeping him in the bathroom so he can get used to the litter box. I also have my inside cat with him.

My cat wants to do ride alongs with the local police. He saw a K-9 unit at work and demanded to be given an equal opportunity. I just don't see how this is going to work!! He runs and hides under beds when I get out the vacuum, flees when we have to go to the vet, naps excessively...

I just don't know what to do...I don't want to crush his dream!!

He's cross eyed so can't judge distance and just jumped. He landed on the lawn (short grass). I took him straight to the vet - he's there now. How long will it be before I wiull know if he's going to be OK? (The vet said all the right things, but wouldn't tell me what his chances were). Please don't answer unless you have had similar happen.

On his chest, right between his front legs. He loves his belly rubbed but only tolerates a brushing for a little while. I don't want to hurt him or make him angry.

We have a 5-6 month old kitten and my husband is planning to get another puppy of a small breed like pomerinian so that "our kitty will have playmate". We also have a medium sized puppy but he's outdoors. Our kitty is soo spoiled and Im worried that he'll be jealous and fight with the little puppy. I want to know if in the long run, the puppy and kitty will be fine together, considering they have the same size. (Btw, our kitty is okay with the bigger dog.)

Just recently, my cat has begun pooping on the mat beside the back door. A first I thought it was because she couldn't get outside, but a few weeks ago she actually came in from outside to poop there. Is there anything I can do to stop her from doing it?

I have recently obtained a cat from a neglectful situation. She is very shy and rarely comes out from hiding. I need to know how to get her to be a bit more social towards me, my baby, and my other cat. Any suggestions?
