Obviously, if you are concerned, you must want a litter of kittens. I took in a stray years ago that was pregnant. I loved going through the pregnancy & raising the litter until they were six weeks old. I was brokenhearted when I had to give them up, but I couldn't have that many cats. She had 5 kittens, and I already had an adult plus the mother. It was so much fun, though, taking care of the litter and watching them grow!

OK, so your female doesn't want to breed. I would say, without seeing her, that she isn't physically ready yet. During her heat, she will begin but not be ready to breed for several days. She may eventually be physically ready to breed and accept the male as her partner.

the reason is she does not want your boy cat if it is attacking the male cat so when she is on heat will have to try and keep them apart which is not easy ,however cats are not stupid and would think ur male cat will get the hint and give up after a while just like 4 example when a lady is on her periord the man knows not to bother good luck.

She isn't ready for him yet. (not physically but mentally) She should eventually let him do his thing. Dogs are similar, they will bite and growl ever time the male advances kind like playing hard to get LOL but eventually she wants to mate and will allow the male.

its either shes not ready or shes actually wanting.Hisses and fights might mean 2 things, yes or not ready. Theres never a NO.
Might look like she dont want to but really shes done it.

What u can do is, put her in the same place as your boycat.

After a while, they'd be getting it on..

Goodluck

Stop being irrisponsible and get them both fixed, pronto!!!

To answer your question....maybe your male cat isn't old enough yet or maybe your female has just always despised him.

well maybe it is because your boy cat has done something wrong to the female cat. because cats do take revenge trust me my cat pees in my shoes after i whoop it so maybe they had an unpleasnt upclose incounter. so i think you should try to get her in the mood or to do make the her less curious
