I got my daughter this kitten. Turns out the poor thing wasn't even weaned, so he is about 5 weeks old. He poops and pees all over the house, on beds, rugs, anything soft. I lock him in the storage room alot, cause that's where the litter box is and he uses it then. I put him in the litter box lots and he runs out. My older cat uses the litter box and the little guy watches and goes in with him...

Putting litter boxes all over the house is not an option. I am pregnant, and need this stuff contained to a place I clean it up with gloves and a mask, and not be stepping on it.

I feed this feral cat at my apt complex. When she sees me she is constantly rubbing herself against my legs even when I'm walking. When I walk faster she will hiss at me and scratch at my pants.. anyone know why she does this?
She also has a patch of hair missing and her skin looks infected there..her mouth does not hang open but her tounge sticks out very slightly. Could this mean she has rabies?

He tells me that I am going to need to administer insulin shots twice a day every day. If your cat has diabetes, is this hard to do? How expensive is it?

I have an Applehead Siamese, a wedgehead Siamese and a Bengal, I want one more purebred cat but not sure what to get. It needs to be a shorthaired cat and pretty energetic.
I'm considering:
1) Tonkanese
2) Abyssinian
3) Snowshoe Siamese
4) Egyptian Mau

Does anyone have any experiance with these breeds? If so, will you tell me first hand about these cats?

I just adopted a cat who is 2-3 years old. She is very affectionate and nice. However, last night (her first night here) she kept me up crawling all over the bed and sometimes licking my hand or butting my hand with her head.

Should I shut her out of the bedroom? Will she chill out if I ignore her? How do I convince the cat to SLEEP or at least hold still and leave me alone at night?

I don't mean as in 'swishy tail means she's annoyed', 'ears back means she's frightened', I mean as in how do I tell that she really loves me. How do I get her to some to me for cuddles when i call her etc.

I've recently adopted Monty, a 12 year old moggy from the RSPCA. He's sadly now a house cat as he's become almost blind but he's a very happy chap and loves lots of attention.

As he can't see Monty's very sensitive to noise and loud bangs make him very scared.

She will urinate in her litterbox, but she will only poop in it when she feels like it, even if it is completely clean.

My cat is OK most days, but some days she drools so much it is literally dripping out of her mouth.

I'm worried she may be ill...

She is 7 months old, and is getting her new set of teeth, so it may be to do with that.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows what causes this, and whether I should take her to the vets.

She is an indoor cat, and has had all her vaccinations.

Thanx in advance. ;-)

I have two cats. They are both a year and a half old and I've had them both since they were 8 weeks. The girl is completely normal. However, my boy has started acting weird. He has been potty trained since I adopted him but he recently started peeing and pooing aorund the house. This is extremely frustrating and since I will not get rid of him, I am hoping somebody will know what to do.

My cat kneeds, usually on my wife at night, and produces way too much saliva. Any ideas why? It's the only time it slobbers.

I have 2 kittens (about 5 months) who won't clean their butts. I thought this stuff was supposed to come naturally to them. I tryed using baby wipes but I want them to do this on their own. Any suggestions?
