I would say it's abnormal not to like animals. Now, if you're talking about an obsession & he owns his own small zoo in his house, then that's kind of weird. Every time we visit friends, their pets, whether it's a cat or dog, always go to my husband. I've called him Dr. Doolittle before. I think it shows that a man has good character if he likes animals and they seem to trust and like him. You can't fool animals when it comes to what's truly in your heart. They know if you're a good or bad person. I've seen it time and time again with one of my cats. He just KNOWS. I also think it's completely sweet and shows that a guy is sensitive and genuine.

Hi I could only answer your question with another answer or two... like...What part of someones life do we stop liking animals & then resume to liking them as many adults love,breed,own & show animals.I find no reason why anyone would think there is a right age & a wrong age for liking animals..
I guess we have a lot of weird people even on these message boards if we have always liked animals...well unless we skipped the year 17 that you feel we shouldn't like animals during that time...Regards Jake

Of course not! Or there would be no male veterinarians.
Dr. Doolittle, Steve Irwin... all male animal people.
Can you think of any females off the top of your head? So obviously there is nothing wrong with guys liking animals.

As a kid my brother would bring home a rabbit for the weekend as long as he was good at school he got to bring him home ,well we had a siamese who was fixed but became very fond of the rabbit he even tried humping it.It was funny,but also normal.

It depends on what you mean by, "like animals" If you mean sexually, then yes, it's wierd and down right disgusting.

If you mean likes them as in wants to have sex with them, then yes and he should seek professional help.
If you mean he likes them in the sense that he likes their companionship, then you're the weird one.

hunh? Umm...In what way? Does he have a thing with beastiality? Then, yes, he's a freak. If it's more of a nature loving thing then no he isn't.
