Thanks, everyone. I just called the emergency vet place and they said that she could wait until morning unless something changes, so that's the plan. please keep your fingers crossed for my little one... i know she's up there, but i'm not ready to say goodbye yet. :(

You do need to get her into a vet. You could wait until morning. It sounds like she is constipated/obstructed. She does need to be seen first thing in the morning if you cant take her tonight. I believe she will be okay until morning. Her stomach will hurt, so that is why she is crying when you pick her up. Give her something warm to lay on, like wrap a heating pad up in a towel on low heat and see if that makes her feel better. I hope she gets to feeling better.

I think that seven hours should be okay because its not like you will die if you don't poop in 24 hours. My reccomendation would be to wait it out, but if it increases and she becomes agitated or sullen, or different in any extreme way from her normal activities, then go to the ER. Better safe than sorry.

Is she drinking, eating? Is she moving at all. Gently push on her belly, is it hard and bloated? Is she vometing her food up? Is she is just laying there and not moving if yes I would take her to the vet. If she is moving around and drinking, I would wait. Do you think she ate something that has obstructed her bowels?

I'd take her to the vet A.S.A.P. I've heard many times from my visits to the vet of a primary concern of some sort of intestinal blockage.
