Cats - September 2006

I am fostering the kittens while my friend is away for 1 yr or so.
My cats met them yesterday and they don't like them.

I reckon sometimes you can tell, and I'm probably wrong, but a certain type of person tends to like cats: Robert Smith, Damon Albarn, C.S Lewis, Syd Barrett, Alex Band and a list of famous poets and authors. And Al Pacino (hmmm...) Seems the quirkier famous people are. Just observing. But do you think you can tell? I've predicted correctly a few times....

My 6 week old kitten got stepped on by accident and his hind leg now has a femoral break I need to know are there any other options for treating this besides surgery? And if not what does a surgery like this cost?

mine does. it flaps back and forth like when she walks. makes me laugh sometimes when she runs because its starts flapping really fast.

my cat is a longhair black and white and i think they call black and white cats a tuxedo cat. but when i look at a list of cat breeds it never says that so i know that not it. i saw a cat that looked like mine and under it it said norwegin forest cat. but i still want to be sure.

Does he love me? It seems like he does because he sits with me and climbs on me often. He also tries to give me a bath sometimes (the cat way, that is). He's very affectionate to both of us.

Our other cat "my cat", doesn't come up too often and avoids me. Does he dislike me? Would he be happier elsewhere?

I buy so much cat food of all kinds to find out one he likes. So, i finally found one thathelies. Wet food finely chopped. But now hes not eating that anynmore. What can be wrong? I thought he was just picky, but he cant be picky about every little thing, can he? could he be sick? he plays a lot and has been goig tot he bathroom okay, but hes been meowing a lot.

I just got a new baby kitten from a neighbor,I have no idea how old it is,if its he or she,,I thought it was a girl,,and named her Chloe! Will find out tommorow, have appt at vet,,the thing I wondered is she has an eye infection, and today I woke up with one!! Do u think I got it from her?
