First, I'd try walking around your neighborhood, calling kitty's name. Our kitty disappeared for a few days and it turned out he was trapped in a backyard a few houses down. He just needed a kitty rescue. Calling his name made him meow his head off. Cats will not venture that far out of their territory.

If that doesn't turn up kitty, try the local pound.

Aside from posting her pictures with lost cat everywhere (vets, pets stores,7-11's.. places with heavy people traffic).. some places to look are under decks, house foundations that are lifted. Feral colonies provide food and some type of shelter and she may have found one to hide in. Large shubbery places, long bush lines, deep weeded flower beds, neighbors homes, ask neighbors to keep an eye out, sometimes cats will run into an opened garage. Theres lots and lots of places. When my cat got out, we thankfully spotted him right away, but while chasing him from hosue to house, he would always run to the thick area's of shubbery. We lucked out because he got his foot stuck in a rounded tree root and were able to get him. I hope you find her, keep us updated!

=-= (or whatever) had it right, especially warning you to have your parents pick up the cat if someone finds it.

Contact the police, humane Society, vets, local neighbors, post signs. Look for places where cats hide (she may be very afraid) - like bushes, Lord forbid - car engines, and any other place she is NOT apt to be found. Keep calling... she may be "around" and be happy to hear the sound of your voice calling her name.

The unfortunate fact is that there are many dangers to outdoor cats, so please, if you find her, keep her inside!

Your local Humane Society.

Trees, under porches, behind bushes, and under parked cars. She's probably looking for places to hide right about now.

If she's micro-chipped, just call the humane society. Otherwise, it's free to post a "found" ad in the paper, so check there.

I suggest that you put flyers all around your neighborhood and city that includes these things:

-picture of your cat
-description of your cat
-phone number (so the person who finds your cat can contact you)
-the words "LOST CAT, IF FOUND PLEASE RETURN"
-reward: "$..." (your parents should decide how much the reward should be)

note: tell your parents first before putting flyers everywhere; when someone finds your cat, tell your parents --- do not pick up your cat alone --- your parents and you should get the cat from the person who finds it
