Usually kittens aren't picky about foods.

Have your kitten examined by a veterinarian. Kittens burn a lot of energy and need to eat. If you are just trying canned food, try dry kitten kibble. Some cats prefer dry food over wet food.

If your kitten is sneezing he might have an upper respiratory infection, which may account for him not eating; not being able to smell his food can keep a cat from eating.

Again, have you kitten examined by a trusted veterinarian. Your vet should be able to help your little guy.

Go to a pet your vet or pet shop and buy him some kitten milk that he can drink that will help him and sustain him. Kittens are so finicky about there food. Then try some kitten wet Iams.

Also give him time when he gets hundy he'll eat. Do you leave out dry kitten chow all day long? This could be reasons as to why he doesn't want to eat.

Hold him when he meows let him know that yur there for him. IF his forehead feels way too hot take him tot he vet.

He seems to be an very happy little man!

If your kitten is not gaining weight and not eating, I agree with Megan B, you should take him/her to a vet. If this is an adult cat and he/she is not maintaining his/her weight, same answer: time to visit the vet.

To find out the cat's weight, weigh yourself holding the cat, then weigh yourself without the cat. Subtract your weight from you + cat. Do this daily for 2-3 weeks to see what is going on with your cat's weight. If your adult cat is losing weight or if your kitten is not gaining weight, you should visit the vet. If your adult cat is maintaining his/her weight or if your kitten is gaining weight, don't worry about it. He/she may be finding food elsewhere (assuming you let your cat roam). Don't give the cat too much food at once, dump out the old food at least once per day, and make sure the cat has fresh water every day.

Good luck.

With animals it's hard to say why they do what they do but it seems that it may be something more than being picky. If you are having feeding troubles with your kitten you should contact a veterinarian because this may lead to future problems. Also if he is not eating normally it may lead to nutrition problems causing hair loss, low weight etc. My advice is contact a vet just to make sure he didn't shallow anything or anything more serious.

I ran over my cat with my car. It lived but after awhile it stopped eating. Died about 2 months after that. Take it to a vet.

Maybe he has a secret stash of food that he eats when you're not around...or maybe he's a robot.

it means he's picky eater, it could be he's bored with the food so you have to mix it, or he could be sick.
