My cat will not leave me alone! He is obsessed with me and I am getting really annoyed! He has always been attached to me, but not this bad. I had a baby a year ago and he seemed fine. This last 3 mths, he sticks to me like glue! Can he be jealous of my DS now? Isn't it a little late for that? He doesn't groom himself very well now either. He leaves his fur all wet and sticking up. What is wrong with him?

People say snakes avoid areas where cats are due to cats attacking and clawing them to death.

Something horrible happen, to my cat and kittens yesterday. The Mother cat had two kittens and they are now 2months, but one has died because some cruel person torture it to death and left the body in my front yard, with knife wounds and blood all over the grass. Sadly the mother cat sawed her kitten dead on the ground with his eyes wide open and it looks like he was scared and in pain the whole time, even until his death. I am just worry that this won’t lead my cat to depression, and hopefully she can forget about it. So I want to know does cats have good memory?

A neighbor asked if she could adopt my daughter's cat, and I told her that I would need to speak with my child. I hadn't got back with her by the time I hear the news that the cat is living in her house, and she's already taken it to the vet. My daughter is absolutely heart-broken, and this woman is being horribly cold to my little girl. Now, this woman's children are attached to this cat, and I don't want to hurt THEM. She took it upon herself to take the cat to the vet, or she could be lying, (which is what I hear from the other neighbors) I personally don't care that she has the cat, just that she didn't wait for me to get back with her about the adoption, and she's being a real b*tch to my daughter when she asks for the cat back. What to do......what to do......

and noticed that my cat had pooped outside his litter box, I was scooping up his poop and notice a little bit of mucous type fluid in his stool as it had a bit of blood in it not much but noticable that is what caught my attention, does anyone think this is serious?? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated, my cat does not seem to be ill and he is rather energetic.

I'm only asking because I know if I leave her in the extra bedroom, she will most likely cry to be with us. Not wanting to be alone. But where could I put her in my bedroom? If on my bed, how will she ever get down? Ugh!! Plus, I have another 1 year old cat. He's great, but you never know how they could be together all night, ya'know?

I have two cats; Jabba (male) and Tippy (female). The cats like each other, but every now and then one of them, my husband and I are really sure it is Tippy, goes to the bathroom on the floor. We keep their litter boxes (we have 2 of them) in the bath room. The boxes can be clean and one of them will decide to use the floor. Its not like they are using the floor somewhere else int he house, they have only had 'accidents' in the bathroom, no more than a foot from their box. And we have no idea how to stop this and I'm getting completely fed up with it. They have the best of everything and they get non-stop attention and are spoiled rotten. But about every other week for a few days, sometimes more often, they will poop on the floor. Have had to get rid of all rugs in the bathroom and have cleaned the floor with everything imaginable, including bleach. I would hate to get rid of her, but I think it might end up being that way, unless I can get some uselful advice. PLEASE HELP!!

one theory about cats sleeping on your lap or stomache or whatever is that it is just a warm spot for them... another statement is "you own a dog, but you feed a cat"...has anybody seen actual "affection" from a cat?..
