I think you have just answered your own question. If your home is usually quiet, then perhaps the cat gets nervous around your friends, especially if the music is very loud. This is part of why pets are kept indoors during bonfire night - to protect them from the loud bangs of fireworks (and of course the obvious risk of being burnt). Perhaps you should consider lowering the level of your music a bit when your friends come round, or invite different combinations of friends. It might be that something has happened that you are unaware of and that your cat is scared of one of them. If you are not prepared to consider any of these options for whatever reason, maybe another option is to talk to your vet and get their advice. There are such things as pet psychologists too. Equally, you could consider asking a friend or neighbour to look after the cat when you are having a party, or put her into a cattery for the times you are having a party.

my cats being staying at my sisters while I get some things sorted, I've stayed at my sisters a lot over the summer to help her with her kids and when I first started staying over my cat began to pee on the bed where I was sleeping, it's had a good clean now, and now that she's used to me being around again she's settled down, don't know how she's going to react when I get back to my place, still can't have her there for a while. she'll be miffed.
Basically your cats telling you she's unhappy and insecure, she'd prob settle down if you went in to see her every now and then while your friends are there. give her a fuss and show her you love her. and keep the music down a bit, if your friends don't understand then they're not really your friends.

Hi, one of my cats has been urinating & spraying over an elongated period of time & so I have read a lot as well as had a vet involved in helping resolve the issue.
Firstly, whatever you do, do NOT rub her face in it please, this will not stop her from doing it, it will simply make her more scared of you & more likely to do it more frequently. It is the same with hitting, cats do not suffer guilt like we do & so they dont know they have done something wrong, they only know you are doing something to them that they don't like & a voice telling them off to them just sounds like "I dont love you".
As you have mentioned that it is loud music & company that seems to trigger it then I would also assume that she doesnt do it in front of you, but its something you realise a few hours later. If this is so then it is purely a sign of insecurity.
The urinating on your bed is simply because she is scared & insecure by the extreme change to her home ... normally I assume a quiet serene location with her 'family' is suddenly without warning transformed to a raving club full of people chattering over the music ... keep in mind that cats hearing is also more sensitive then ours. Imagine being in a deep slumber & wonderful dream then being jolted awake by a loudspeaker in your ear playing 5 different songs all at once ... that is probably how she feels.
Where is her tray in comparison to where the guests are? Does she come to see them at all or does she stay in hiding through out the whole visit?
If she is an outdoor cat, then let her out when you have friends over & make sure her tray is by the back door if not outside with her, make sure she doesnt have to see anyone if she doesnt want to. (Both of my cats are timid but the urinating one is more timid then the other one & very rarely will a stranger to the house get to see her unless she is making a dash for the back door)
If she is an indoor cat, then try turning the music down & therefore your friends can also talk quieter & perhaps she might make it all their worthwhile doing so by actually honouring them with her presence!
Whatever you choose to do, remember to clean your mattress with a cleaner free of ammonia, anything with citrus is reputedly good as cats arent meant to like this smell & if it continues, then you may have to take the option that I had to of shutting your cat out of your bedroom at all times. (I used to get woken in the middle of the night by mine weeing on my bed just to get my attention)
Good Luck,

Three possible reasons:
1. Something on your bed causes her to think it's a good place to pee.
2. She's scared by the music and your friends.
3. She's trying to get your attention.
I personally think it's more the latter, since she only does it when you're occupied with something else (music or friends for example.

maybe she is nervous of all the loud noise!
also if her litter tray is where u and ur friends are maybe she is too scared to come out of ur bedroom to go to the toilet so she goes on the bed!
cats do these things for attention! it is there way of communicating with u!
u could move the litter tray into ur bedroom when u are gonna be having loud times!
u need to pick ur cat up, rub her nose in the wee and tap her nose and then take her to the litter tray! that should teach her that it is bad!
it worked for my cat!

Cats dislike loud music and strangers and kitty is letting you know this.
You could try putting her in a room by herself where it will be quiet with litter, food and water. Or party at someone else's place.

Your cat is unhappy about the music and the loss of YOUR attention to your friends. All you can do is catch the cat before she goes and take her to the tray. Or you can remove her from the situation and put her in another room or outside.

She is, I think, getting territorial - she dislike the noise, probably, and wants to say "this is my place, I am in command, turn the noise down or I will make you sorry".
If she does it also when it's peaceful, you may want to try going to the vet, though - she may be having problems with the urinary tract. Is she using the litter at all? If not, definitely go to the vet.

My cat did this to me a few times. I think she was mad about me working a lot and not being home or something. Finally I couldn't handle it anymore and gave her to my aunt. She doesn't work and was able to spend a lot more time with her. The cat never made a mess for my aunt!
