That would be the mongoose that keeps the snakes away. They look kind of like cats.

There is some truth to this saying, but it is not an absolute. One of the primary reasons why there are fewer snakes in areas where there are cats is because of the competition for food sources. Cats will kill and eat rodents, then the snakes don't have anything to feed on.

A cat will kill a snake if the snake is slow enough and small enough. Most cat/snake encounters involve a lot of hissing and spitting on both parties and the cat goes into "Halloween" shape. Then both parties back off. A fight is trouble for both.

regrettably there is not any longer a lot you may do. you are able to attempt a syringe with particular milk for the cats. Cows milk is risky do no longer use that. Use kitten milk from shops. If it nevertheless gained't feed, i'm afraid you've were given to have it positioned down, or allow it attempt to get milk on that is own accord. It takes position each and every so often, and existence is cruel that way.

Depends on the snake. A rattler will kill a cat, a boa will kill, and eat a cat. A garden snake is a cat's toy.

Nonsense! You are giving snakes too much credit. They will go where ever they find a food source and shelter.
Cats will sometime hunt snakes but it is not healthy for either animal.

I had a cat come in my front door and drop a live snake in my livingroom, it then slithered into a closet and I had to get the snake out of the house! (no fun!)
